William's son John Warren moved to St. Annes Parish, Albermarle Co. VA in present day Scottsville. He died in 11-25-1691 his body was found in Westmoreland Co. The Westmoreland coroner made a report to the county court on the investigation into the death. John probably was buried in the cemetery at St. Annes Parish Church which was located where Occupacia Creek flows into the Rappahannock River. John's son James Warren Sr. remained in Albermarle Co. VA and purchased 400 acres on both sides of Stoney Run of Buffalo River.(his younger brother John may have been the co-owner). James's son James Warren Jr. remained in Albermarle Co. VA and purchased 217 acres on the south side of the Rivanna on the branches of Mores Creek. He became a baptist minister and later recieved a land grant in Edgefield Co.
